New HR initiatives at VMPIM

Right from the first year of the the new HR course at VMPIM, the students have initiated various activities, under the guidance of Prof. Shital Badshah and Ms. Poonam Chhaniwal.

Here are the details of some activities.

Article discussion/ Group Discussion:
The main objective of the activity is to improve the communication skill of students. The students are given the latest articles on HR issues and latest trends in HR, prior to the discussion date. These articles are collected from renowned HR books, journals, magazines and news papers.

Industrial visits/ Seminars:
To complement the theoretical knowledge with the practical learning, Industrial visits are frequently arranged with a view to discuss the HR issues with the HR managers and executives. Uptil this date, HR students have visited various renowned companies like the Mother dairy and Ratnamani Metals and tubes Pvt. Ltd.

Celebrations at VMPIM:
This activity is initiated with the objective to add the joy and celebration in the life of students and faculty members, by celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and date of joining the institute.

All these activities are managed by group of students Janvi Mehta, Poonam Kanchani, Varsha Sukhia, Heet Amin, Nidhi Jayswal.

We heartily congratulate the HR people for their excellent initiative. Such activities will help to build the value of our institute. We hope that such trend stays forever at our Institute.
