Welcome to 2009-2011 batch
Dear Freshers,
You are going to start a new life with vmpim family which is a real journey of self discovery and trust me : its a different world folks, its the best moments of your life! . The lucky folks at vmpim will be going through studies, reports, projects, quizes , seminars etc . but along with it will come the fresher’s party with lots n lots of fun for you guys.
For our college this line is very true “A student acquires a quarter of his knowledge from his/her lecturer, another quarter from his/her own intelligence, another quarter from college friends, and the last quarter, in course of time, from experience”
I am sure you will learn a lot if you seriously work and take this course seriously and not for the sake of studying. Management is something not about studying but it is about learning, experiencing, discovering, sharing, identifying, observing different things around you.
Some of the few things that you should not forget and must do : Enjoy VMPIM life! Enjoy to the max. lots of events in the campus, parties. Lots of things to do and enjoy with friends….Don’t hesitate to enjoy, you will regret it afterwards when you join the routine world of work!
But along with this don’t forget Time Management. Remember you are sacrificing a lot of things in order to come and study at the vmpim. If you know only “Fun! Fun! Fun!” in vmpim and no “study”, then you are stuck my friend. Grab a few books and read a few articles from time to time.
Coming to this college you definitely achieve a positive experience, not only in gaining the valuable qualifications ,but also meet some wonderful people who remain your friends forever. You began to feel more comfortable after knowing the environment of VMPIM and the professor of VMPIM are very down to the earth they are very helpful and supportive especially when it deals with academics and in other prospective also.
